BEERS Monthly Intraclub Competition

Tampa Bay BEERS sponsors a monthly intraclub competition meeting normally held on the third Tuesday of each month. These meetings are led by an experienced BJCP beer judge and are designed to encourage members to learn more about beer styles and categories, competition brewing,  and judging.

The schedule below sets forth the category or styles to be featured each month. Where applicable, this schedule follows the AHA Club Only competition schedule, and the winning entry is sent to represent BEERS in that competition.

Any member may participate by bringing beers brewed to the specified style or category of the month, or may attend just to sample and judge the entries. A first, second, and third place winner is chosen each month; and a running tally of points are earned by entrants and applied towards the annual competition winner. In addition to bragging rights, the club competition winner receives his or her name on the club competition plaque displayed at Mr. Dunderbaks.

Winning entries in the Intraclub competition are also eligible for points in the Brewpons award program.
